The Climate Symphony was written by Beethoven about 200 years ago. It's a piece of music that invites you into a dialogue with nature. The Climate Symphony, also known as 'Beethoven's 6th Symphony', is inspired by Vienna and its beautiful natural surroundings from 1824.
Through his music you will feel the joy of the sun in spring, smell the earth, the flowers, the herbs and hear the birds, the insects, the rain, and the thunder. Will the earth still look like this in 200 years?
The musicians of the Dutch String Collective want to make a statement with their music about the vulnerability of nature and the necessity for change.
As such they renamed Beethoven's 6th Symphony to "Climate Symphony". Experience this wonderful and playful music at various locations in Het Groene Veld and let your imagination run wild!
