Dance for the right to demonstrate

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, a procession of trucks will once again form a beautiful parade straight through Amsterdam!

The demonstration departs from 1:00 PM on Dam Square. Leave a steaming mass behind it and come too!

Afterwards there will be an afterparty at Het Groene Veld
from 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM

Demonstrating is a human right. A free society should even facilitate it. But in the Netherlands, this right is under pressure: the current government is investigating the restriction of the right to protest, and there is increasing violence by the police at demonstrations.

ADEV will not remain silent when the authorities try to silence us. With deafening sound, they will make themselves heard for what should be possible in every constitutional state: the right to protest. Will you dance with us? Demonstrate that the street belongs to us! Of course, the demonstration should also be celebrated with a fitting conclusion. Come by for DJs, bands, and more at the Machinegebouw.
