Shamba Lion Soundsystem is a national and international operating Reggae Sound System originating from Amsterdam/ Haarlem, the Netherlands. Sound system culture dates back to the 1950s in Jamaica. However, it has now spread worldwide, and homemade "Wall of Sound" systems can be found everywhere. What makes Shamba Lion special is that not every sound system crew is so diverse.

Slimmah sound & Lyrical Benjie
Since 2005 Tim “Slimmah Sound” Baumgarten has been releasing his trademark deep roots and heavy dub music on his own Roots Tribe label, but also on other record labels like King Shiloh’s Majestic label. Most of these releases have become highly sought after collectors items nowadays. His later albums include different singers and players of instruments, as well as fully instrumental heavy dub music, warrior style!

The Tuff lions
The Tuff Lions are the 2018 French reggae revival revelation. Led by singer Jahvie, the band from Toulouse have been scouring international stages since 2012. The compositions, delivered in English, are an outlet for the songwriters draw inspiration from their own lives, describing situations that are revolting, touching, or inspiring, but always blatantly true.
