Still a lot to do in the Garden… So come and work yourself warm with us!
We dig for our Roots and cover the Earth.
We start in Green Ass Garden with harvesting and we make ointment, tincture, fire cidre and wild foraged soup in the restaurant @ Machinegebouw around the wood stove.
In winter the power of medicinal plants turns back into their roots, because the leaves and flowers don't need much energy anymore. The Comfrey root (smeerwortel) is a famous medicinal salve/ointment herb growing here, so we can make a big new amount of it. Further on the Burdock root (grote klit/kliswortel) is ready for harvest and be turned into a liver cleansing tincture together with dandelion root (paardebloemwortel). On top of this we can make fire cider with horse radish root, kurkuma, hot peppers from the Dome and more to boost your immune system against colds and flu.
Meanwhile we craft from harvested tubers and roots a delicious wild soup for dinner! Ready for winter, you can roll spontaneously into the exiting Damoclash protest fest from 20h.
