HORAKI
Horaki plays world music with unique sounds. Melancholic Balkanbeats, 50s swing or uplifting Latin rhythms. You won’t be able to stay on your chair for this one: you can’t help but dance!
The Horaki band members - ‘Hora’ is a Romanian dance and ‘Raki’ is the famous (or rather infamous) alcoholic beverage of the Balkan - conjointly play about 25 different instruments.
Violin, piano, accordion, guitar, percussion and vocals constitute the base of their songs, but they are complemented by more unconventional instruments - like darabuka or banjo- that emphasize each song’s unique character. Horaki turns every performance into a dancefest!
