Kingsday 2023: Free market at Het Groene Veld

Dear neighbors and other interested parties,

Now that we have such a nice green field in our neighbourhood, it seems like a perfect idea to organize the free market here, instead of spreading it throughout the neighbourhood. There is enough space here to display your things on your rug or table. And at the same time it is clear and friendly, without commercial sales.

What are we planning?

Donald Duck (and other comics) swap booth. Collect all read copies and exchange them on King's Day. You are guaranteed not to have a child on them for days!

3D printerette. See and learn how a 3D printer works and have a little something printed with your name on it.

Japanese storytelling theater in a cozy circus tent

Mega bubble blower, always fun!

Recycling = fun, participate in the wheelbarrow race

For the more active, there is a sports and games corner with trampolines, (safe) archery, slacklines, tennis, basketball, Twister, etc.

Cutting Fair; trade your cuttings or seeds with your neighbours

The 'What do you know about Het Groene Veld?' quiz with a chance to win great prizes ;-)

Mini workshop ceramics
Open stage for 0-100 year olds, where everyone can show their talent: singing, dancing, magic, juggling, etc. Bring on your arts.

Live music! And of course a bar with tasty fresh drinks. In short, we want to organize a super cool day for the neighborhood and the environment. For young and old, for Northerners and other residents of the city. Actually, for everyone.

You don't have to make a reservation or get up very early to put down your dress. We think it's super nice to know how many people we can expect.

In addition to sunshine, we also need YOU to make this a resounding success. We are bursting with ideas, but we are short of hands.

How can you help?

By signing up for the preparation, such as decorating the place, decorating the bar, cleaning, etc.

By registering your own activity for the day, such as face painting, etc. or by supervising an activity or keeping an eye on things.

By making things available for that day, such as a slackline, Twister rug or ping pong table...

Make tasty snacks to hand out (or sell)

By coming of course ;-)
