Dance for the right to demonstrate
On Saturday, October 19, 2024, a procession of trucks will once again form a beautiful parade straight through Amsterdam!
The demonstration departs from 1:00 PM on Dam Square. Leave a steaming mass behind it and come too!
Demonstrating is a human right. A free society should even facilitate it. But in the Netherlands, this right is under pressure: the current government is investigating the restriction of the right to protest, and there is increasing violence by the police at demonstrations.
ADEV does not remain silent when the authorities try to silence them. With a deafening sound they let us hear exactly what should be in a constitutional state: the right to demonstrate. Will you dance along? Demonstrate that the street is ours!
