Earthworks is a great asset to Het Groene Veld and of course also to Amsterdam, which could use a \nbit more culture. Earthworks is an International dub oriented collective that has been active in the \nmusic industry for over 20 years. Their large studio and meeting place at Het Groene Veld is a place \nthat is constantly buzzing with activity<\/strong><\/p>


Music services<\/strong><\/h3>

Earthworks works with musicians, artists and bands of all different styles, backgrounds and genres. \nThey specialize in vintage audio equipment and offer an extensive list of music services, including \nrecording & rehearsal, mixing & mastering facilities and labeling and distribution services.

Polyvinyl<\/h3>

They also individually cut polyvinyl dubplates (on 7\" or 10\") that have the sound quality, volume, and \nlongevity\/durability of regular factory pressed records. They even have limited one-off cuts or short \nruns of up to 20 custom cut plates are available on 7\" or 10\" sizes, along with a variety of artwork \nand cover options. Earthworks specializes in creating high-quality, low-noise cuts that can be played \nat loud volumes on sound systems and by DJs.<\/p>


Collective<\/h3>

Earthworks as a collective consists of about 15 people, all volunteers, from musicians, DJs, sound \nengineers to program makers. Earthworks was originally founded in England and is the result of a \ncollaboration between Jahworks and Ben King (musician, DJ and sound engineer).<\/p>


Meeting function<\/h3>

In 2013 Earthworks moved to the Netherlands and had a successful studio with caf\u00e9 in Weesp. Via \nAmsterdam-Zuid, they eventually ended up at Het Groene Veld in the autumn of 2022 and have \nreally found their place among all the creative people and artists who inspire each other. \nFor example, Ewa (DJ) says that many artists and musicians come together every day and many new \ninitiatives and ideas arise from this. In addition to the record shop, where you can get the best \nselection of Vinyls by the way, they are currently building a lounge \/ bar to give the meeting function \neven more power.<\/p>

Ben King, DJ Ewa, Jan Rey, Maurits, Douwe, Carly, Matti and Vries, all artists involved in Earthworks, \nwant to start organizing events in the Machinegebouw on Het Groene Veld soon. We can not wait!<\/p>
