I have been living in Amsterdam North for 22 years. This district has inspired me by its diversity and connection. Since 2003 I have been active at various women's boards and have thus built up my expertise for women's empowerment and activation.<\/strong><br \/><br \/>Since 2016 I have my own foundation, called Stichting Malak. The objective of 'our' foundation is to help women with social participation, to promote self-reliance and to create a positive connection in the neighborhood by setting up a social network and supporting women with various requests for help.<br \/><br \/>In addition, we advise and support professionals on social issues and we offer parents help with questions about children with Down syndrome. We are also initiators of 'Samen naar School Klas' Amsterdam, for children with disabilities. This is to achieve inclusive education in primary and secondary education.<br \/><br \/>We are confident that Het Groene Veld will be our new home, where we can offer our target group a safe and inspiring meeting place. We would also like to contribute to making Het Groene Veld even more vibrant, by entering into great partnerships with fellow tenants and with formal and more informal organisations. <br \/><br \/>We also strive to create a nice connection between neighbors from different backgrounds by means of communication. organize fun activities for the neighborhood and residents of Amsterdam North.
