Sunday: Neighborhood and games café

Café open every Sunday from now on!

For the past two months the café has been open every Sunday between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. under the name ‘Sunday Games Day’. We noticed it works. There were ‘regulars’ and new faces every time.

That’s why we are pleased to announce the initiative will be extended indefinitely due to its success ; ).

Perhaps the games element made it feel like an afternoon only open to games fans. Nothing could be further from the truth: everyone is welcome, from games fanatics to those who hate games. To make this clear, we will now call Sunday afternoon ‘Neighborhood and games café’.

Now that the weather is nicer, the trees are greener and the days are getting longer, it is wonderful to enjoy our sunny terrace or the cozy café - for when the sun is hiding - with a beer in hand and a few ‘bitterballs’ on the side.

There is room for new encounters, chatting or deep conversations in good company, relaxing with a book or playing games all afternoon, it's all possible in the neighborhood café!

With an abundance of games at your fingertips, including ping pong table, shuffleboard and outdoor trampolines, kids won''t be bored. And, who knows, maybe even the game hater will be tempted by a round of 'Exploding Kittens'!

Feel welcome, every Sunday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in the café at Het Groene Veld. The bar is open and every Sunday we offer various snacks or bites.

By the way, several locals also occasionally take on a bar shift on Sundays or lend a hand by making tasty snacks in advance or on the spot. After all, the Green Field belongs to all of us. Does that seem fun to you too?
