Charley mainly performs in the alternative scene under the name Temporary Toon. Joost, after a career in film and t.v. now 3D cardboard art. Jane teaches, paints and draws. The studio gives them the space for further development.

“It creates the right mindset. Because it is situated on this special site, it offers opportunities for new connections, new collaborations. We make projects here that don't fit in the city. Because the community is there, we feel more comfortable and there are a lot of opportunities to work together. Maybe also with each other. That is really enriching for us and we enrich that community again. We don't live here ourselves, but we do feel very much at home. Because we now have this studio, we really belong."

Charley wrote a text about this feeling:

Sometimes the words intertwine

with difficulty

They stagger awkwardly through the

sky

It is as if the world

has freckles

but the word green is not fitting

with this spring

the word free isn't fitting

this feeling

What you can't do, is still who you are

I'm the word that's like a hedgehog

Laying on your tongue

Dat slaapt als was het klein geluk
