Food & chill

Be sure to arrive on time to chill in the cafe, grab a bite to eat, and cook up the revolution together.

Protest songs jam carousel & karaoke

Grab the soapbox and warm up your vocal cords. In these turbulent times, dusting off your favorite protest songs is certainly not a luxury. Be Public Enemy #1 and Rage Against the Machine, because The Times They Are a-Changin'. Come by and pick a classic from the list to sing along to with the PC, or sign up to perform a song with the real dad-backing band.

Joost Baars is a poet, essayist, and bookseller in Amsterdam. He was involved with the Amsterdam poetry theater Perdu and the literature festival Read My World, and writes about poetry for publications such as Awater and Poëziekrant. Plan B is a versatile musical project by Tomas Gons; he brought together a large group of musical friends to make a new record. The record is here, and Tomas & Friends are coming to present it. Plan B is an ad hoc collective centered around 20 musicians making music together. With trumpet, double bass, guitar, cello, samplers, drums, accordion, and piano, they create a feast for your ears. From hip-hop and noise via chanson and R&B to rock and blues.
